| Monday 18th was a lovely day - fresh, but dry and often sunny. After a cooked breakfast and coffee on our patio, we had a wander around Portree and a late morning coffee at the delightful 'Stairway to Food Heaven' cafe (to which we returned for dinner). In the afternoon we had a two-hour boat trip in the 'Brigadoon' in the Sound of Raasay - we saw sea and golden eagles, including two sea eagles flying down to take fish from the sea, and also vsiited a seal colony off Raasay. We then went on a very pleasant 2-hour walk on the Scorrybreac Circuit, round a headland next to Portree. |
