| Immediately after lunch, we set out in our luxurious (!) hirecar for a trip down south. We made it as far as Oamaru, where, having checked into our cosy unit at the Midway Motel, we went to see the yellow-eyed penguins. Over a period of an hour or so, we saw four or five walk up the beach to feed their chicks. |
